Because it's quick, it's easy and it works! Its efficacy in smoothing dynamic wrinkles is unmatched by any other product or procedure.
Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Jeuveau are the foundation of aesthetic injectables. They treat the CAUSE of dynamic wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that create wrinkles. It is popular in nearly all adult age groups, either for proactive prevention in 30-year-olds or mitigation and smoothing in 40, 50, 60, and 70-year-olds.
Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau are injected during an office visit that lasts approximately 20 minutes. You will begin to see the results of the injections in 2 to 5 days. First, you will notice that your muscle is not responding the way it used to, and over time, you will notice the wrinkles associated with that/those muscle(s) become smoother. The smoothing effect will fade after about 3-4 months at which time you will return to your baseline.
Botox Cosmetic and Dysport are purified proteins of the Clostridium botulinum toxin type A. They bind to receptors on the muscles that are treated and render the muscle unreceptive to the nerve signals that would otherwise cause the muscle to contract. They are very effective and very specific and work where they are injected. Because of this, they allow us to relax specific, targeted muscles in the face, which cause dynamic (muscle movement associated) facial wrinkling.
The safety and efficacy of these products have been extensively studied and published in peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals. Many new uses for these amazing products are on the horizon.
Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Jeuveau are "neuromodulators." They relax muscles by modulating the effect of our neurotransmitters on the muscles into which they are injected. This means that when we try to use a muscle that has been treated with one of these products, it will not respond or it will respond weakly. This effect is temporary and wears off over time, usually 3-4 months, depending upon which area has been treated.
Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, and Jeuveau are injectable proteins that have been approved by the FDA to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. They share a similar mechanism of action and are used for similar purposes. At Entre Nous, we enjoy using all three products using their subtle differences to customize the care of each patient.
At Entre Nous, our expert injectors can recommend which areas of treatment will benefit you.
Common areas that benefit from Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, or Jeuveau injections are:

How many threads you need depends on the type (barbed, smooth, or twist) and your treatment goals. If you’re getting smooth threads, we use many of them because they are very fine. We use the smooth and twist threads monthly for 3 treatments initially, and then we follow up with a maintenance treatment every 6 to 12 months. Barbed threads may require fewer threads and last longer.
Yes, the amount of threads you get affects the cost. In general, the more threads you need, the more it will cost.
PDO threads are minimally painful. We use a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort during the treatment.
If you have thin skin, you might feel them with your finger if you press hard. For those with thicker skin, you almost always can’t feel them.
Depending on the size and type of threads, you may find it uncomfortable to sleep on your side for the first week afterward. You should always sleep on your back to prevent facial wrinkling and volume loss! 😉
Once under your skin, the threads will not break.
As with any injection, there is some discomfort at the injection site during the treatment process. There is no anesthetic needed, and many patients report little to no discomfort. Some bruising may be expected afterward and should resolve in the weeks following treatment.
Adult women who want to smooth out cellulite on the buttocks with a simple non-invasive treatment are good candidates for QWO.
The manufacturer suggests that QWO works best with 3 separate treatments spaced 21 days apart.
We ask that you arrive five minutes early for your appointment to allow extra time for parking and so that you may have time to help yourself to one of our famous, super-automatic, bean to cup lattes or cappuccinos.
We highly value all our clients and will do our very best to accommodate anyone who arrives within less than half of their appointment time having lapsed. However, if over half of your allotted time has lapsed, you will need to reschedule your appointment as a courtesy to the following clients' appointments.

Laser Hair Reduction
Anyone with unwanted, thick hair which is significantly darker than his or her skin is a good candidate.
While your appointment time will be a little longer, the treatment takes anywhere from 1 to 20 minutes or longer, depending on the area treated.
Modern laser hair removal lasers are much less painful than in the past. Most people say it feels like a rubber band snapping against the skin.
LHR usually has no downtime.
You may notice thinner hair even after the first treatment. It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for the hair to resprout. The hairs usually become thinner with each treatment.
LHR permanently reduces (shrinks) the hair bulb (root) of the hair it targets. Unless the bulb is hormonally influenced, such as with certain medical conditions such as PCOS, it remains gone or so miniaturized that people never need to worry about it again.
You should repeat treatments precisely every 4 to 6 weeks to have the best chance of affecting the hair bulb. This catches the bulb in the early, active growth phase (anagen), giving superior results. If you treat any sooner or later, you will miss this window of opportunity.
The cost is anywhere from $250 per treatment. Members save 20%.
Preparation for laser hair removal is refraining from sun exposure to the area to be treated, and allowing the hair roots to grow-in (no plucking, tweezing, waxing or threading) for at least two weeks. Also, refrain from self-tanner for at least two weeks before treatment.
Treat skin gently after LHR, as if you had a sunburn. The skin is usually recovered from any redness, tenderness, or swelling within an hour.
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and is not a laser. IPL has multiple wavelengths (non-coherent light). Laser is one wavelength (coherent light). For purposes of hair removal, the diode laser is the gold standard. At Entre Nous Aesthetics, we use the Lumenis Light Sheer diode laser. While IPL can be effective for hair removal, in our experienced hands, we have found that laser is more effective for hair removal.
Light energy from the laser is converted into heat when the laser hits its target. Diode laser targets melanin, which pigments the hair (and why having a tan could burn your skin). When the melanin absorbs the laser light, it destroys the hair follicle. If the follicle is in the early, active (anagen) growth phase, it is more likely to be miniaturized permanently. If the skin is significantly lighter than the hair, the skin is far less affected and laser doesn’t “see” it, so the skin is left unaffected, and only the follicle is destroyed. The thicker the hair, the easier it is for the laser to “see”.
The most popular areas are female underarms, bikini area, lower legs, upper lip, and the male back.
While they may help over time, they are not powerful, require a lot of time, and may be tedious to use. Our laser hair removal treatments are quick and highly effective.
Laser hair removal is much faster. Electrolysis hair removal has been around for a very long time. It involves a needle entering a single hair root, then sending an electrical current through the root to kill it. This requires a significant amount of time because it treats only one hair at a time, whereas laser hair removal treats a large area (up to the size of a quarter or larger) with each pulse. With laser hair removal, man’s entire back can be treated in 15 minutes or less.
If you have a tan, the laser could burn the skin. We will not treat tanned skin.
We recommend hair having fully grown-in before LHR to avoid having to retreat or touch-up later. Generally, the minimum age is 15 years old. However, there are certain special circumstances in which we may treat someone younger if the child is motivated and embarrassed by the hair and LHR would greatly benefit them.
EMSCULPT is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that destroys fat and strengthens muscle in the abdomen and buttocks. It has also been effective in improving diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles), which often occurs post-pregnancy.
EMSCULPT uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to force extremely powerful muscle contractions that are not possible with even the most rigorous workouts. This forced activity then increases fat metabolism and muscle tone for a leaner, tighter, and firmer abdomen and backside. EMSCULPT is a new non-invasive body sculpting treatment. It is intended to help reduce fat and tone muscles around the abdominal and buttock regions.
The best candidate for EMSCULPT procedure has a trim physique. Ask your provider for more details. We sometimes first use CoolSculpting® to decrease the amount of abdominal fat, then follow with EMSCULPT to build and tone the abs.
EMSCULPT is a 30-minute treatment with a minimum of 4 sessions scheduled 2-3 days apart. Your provider will help you create a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals.
EMSCULPT is a painless procedure that feels very similar to intense abdominal or gluteal exercises–except the device is doing all the work.
That’s what is so amazing about EMSCULPT - it does not require any downtime, and normal activities, including workouts, can be resumed right away.
For optimal effects, patients should have four EMSCULPT treatments spaced two-to-three days apart. Fat reduction, muscle definition, and overall toning will begin to appear two-to-four weeks after the last session.
EMSCULPT results are continuous and should be fully visible by three months, but can improve for up to six months.
Some patients notice increased muscle tone of the abs one day following treatment. The roughly 16% increase in muscle mass and a 20% reduction in fat were measured 2 months after the 4th treatment.
Clinical studies on EMSCULPT for the abdomen and buttocks treated patients for 30 minutes, twice a week for 2 weeks with a total of 4 treatments. Typically, one treatment every 3 to 6 months for maintenance is required to maintain results.
EMSCULPT costs $700 per treatment. Members save 20%.
EMSCULPT is non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post-treatment preparation.
Sculptra stimulates your body to make more collagen. By doing so, it makes your skin sturdier and adds subtle volume to restore volume lost in the normal process of aging.
The best candidates for Sculptra are people who need to restore volume in multiple areas of their face and who want a subtle, natural result.
Each appointment for Sculptra injections takes approximately one hour.
Any injection procedure may be painful and Sculptra is no exception. The Sculptra mixture contains local anesthetic so the pain lessens as the procedure progresses.
Most patients look great immediately after the procedure when they see the effect of the added volume. Unfortunately, the volumization disappears within 2 or 3 days while the Sculptra starts working on a cellular level. Downtime is primarily associated with bruising and swelling. Bruises that result from the injections can last up to 1 week or more. Members have access to the Vbeam laser which can help bruises disappear more quickly and staff can help you with camouflage make-up if requested.
Occasionally swelling may linger in the area beneath your eyes, giving your lower lids a puffy appearance. This will resolve over a week or two.
You will see some lovely changes in facial volume immediately. It will not last. Once the swelling subsides, your body will start working on building collagen. This can take a while. We recommend a series of treatments, usually three. Although some people see changes quickly, most patients begin to appreciate changes around the time of their third treatment.
The deposition of collagen and strengthening of your skin will last forever although age and time will continue to degrade the collagen. Within 12-18 months you will start missing the soft fullness achieved by the Sculptra treatment.
Once you’ve achieved the desired amount of correction, we recommend a maintenance treatment once every 9-12 months.
Since we strongly recommend multiple treatments (usually three), we have special pricing for those who purchase a series of treatments. Costs are $900 per vial, or a package of 4 or more is $835 per vial. Thereafter, regular maintenance pricing is $795 per vial. (Members receive 10% savings on all regular pricing).
The best way to prepare for your Sculptra treatment is to avoid fish oil, anti-inflammatory medication, aspirin, and other products that can increase your tendency to bleed and bruise. Because any injections can cause bleeding, avoiding these products for two weeks before your treatment can help reduce potential bruising.
Before you leave the office, you will receive a massage of the areas that have been injected. We will instruct you to do a similar massage 5 times per day for the 5 days after your treatment. You may receive an ice pack to minimize bruising before you leave the office.
Sculptra differs from the more well-known hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, and Voluma) in that it doesn't stay in your body as a filler. It stimulates your body to make more collagen so the added volume is ultimately your own tissue. It acts slowly, so results are not appreciated for several months after beginning a Sculptra treatment series. The effects of Sculptra will eventually diminish if not maintained. It cannot be reversed the same way the other (HA) fillers can be.
