Say goodbye to ingrown hairs & painful, temporary hair removal methods.
Body hair removal is part of many people’s daily routine. Shaving is quick, but lasts only a few days and other methods like waxing, tweezing, and epilation can be painful and need to be repeated frequently. Using laser energy to eliminate hair provides long-lasting results with minimal discomfort, offering our clients smooth skin all year round. How It Works
Laser hair removal in Menlo Park
Thanks to innovative laser technology, laser hair removal works by emitting a single beam of light that passes through the skin and targets and destroys the hair follicle while leaving the surrounding skin untouched.
Laser hair removal specifically targets hairs in the growth phase, when the hair is still attached to the follicle. Hairs grow at various rates and not every hair is going to be in the same stage at the same time. Multiple laser treatments allow us to treat more and more hair follicles, resulting in less regrowth between sessions. Eventually, there will be no regrowth at all!
Permanent laser hair removal is possible with strategically time laser treatments in expert hands. With our adjustable diode laser, we provide safe and effective laser hair removal for all skin tones.
What Can I Expect?
Most clients require a series of six laser hair removal sessions to achieve the results they’re after. Laser energy can destroy only the hair follicles that are in the active growth phase, so multiple treatments are required to adequately treat all hairs.
Over time, silky, stubble-free skin is achieved. Laser hair removal is approved by the FDA as permanent hair reduction.
Occasional touch-up treatments to treat hair follicles that are no longer dormant may be required. It is important to note that laser hair removal is ineffective on vellus hairs (AKA “peach fuzz”).
