Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Welcome to the website of Entre Nous Aesthetics (“Entre Nous,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, including any pages, content, features, forms, appointment-request tools, communications features, and other services made available through the website (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply to use of the Site. They do not replace or modify any separate treatment consent, financial policy, appointment policy, patient agreement, program agreement, privacy notice, or other document that may apply to medical care or other services you receive from Entre Nous Aesthetics.
1. About Entre Nous Aesthetics
Entre Nous Aesthetics is an independent aesthetic medicine practice located in Menlo Park, California. Our licensed health care professionals provide aesthetic and medical services within the scope of their respective professional licenses and applicable California law.
Information presented on this Site regarding our providers, treatments, products, technologies, and services is intended to help users learn about our practice and available services.
2. Website Information Is Not Medical Advice
The information provided on this Site is for general educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing on this Site is intended to constitute, and should not be relied upon as:
- individualized medical advice;
- a medical diagnosis;
- a recommendation that a particular treatment or product is appropriate for you;
- a substitute for consultation with a qualified health care professional; or
- a guarantee regarding the outcome of any treatment.
Every patient is different. Treatment recommendations, risks, benefits, alternatives, expected outcomes, and suitability must be determined based on an individualized evaluation by an appropriately licensed health care professional.
Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information you have read on this Site.
3. No Provider-Patient Relationship Created by the Website
Your use of this Site, including viewing content, submitting a contact form, sending a message, requesting an appointment, subscribing to communications, or communicating with us electronically, does not by itself establish a provider-patient relationship.
A provider-patient relationship is established only through the appropriate clinical process and acceptance of you as a patient by the applicable licensed health care provider.
Submitting an appointment request or receiving an automated appointment confirmation does not constitute a medical evaluation, medical advice, or an agreement that any particular treatment will be performed.
4. Medical Emergencies
This Site and its messaging features are not intended for medical emergencies.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency medical care.
Do not use a website form, email, text message, social media message, online scheduling system, or other non-emergency electronic communication to seek urgent medical attention.
Current patients who have a treatment-related concern should follow the post-treatment instructions provided by their clinician and use the practice’s designated clinical contact methods when appropriate.
5. Treatment Eligibility and Clinical Judgment
Descriptions of treatments or services on this Site do not mean that a particular treatment is appropriate or available for every individual.
All medical services are subject to:
- an appropriate clinical evaluation;
- review of relevant medical history;
- applicable contraindications;
- informed consent;
- the independent professional judgment of the treating clinician; and
- applicable law and professional standards.
Our clinicians may recommend an alternative treatment, postpone treatment, require additional medical information or clearance, or decline to provide a requested treatment when they believe doing so is medically appropriate.
A patient’s decision to request, schedule, or pay for a consultation or service does not obligate a clinician to perform a particular procedure.
6. Treatment Results, Photographs, and Testimonials
Aesthetic medicine is individualized, and results vary from person to person.
Any descriptions of anticipated outcomes, treatment longevity, recovery periods, patient experiences, before-and-after photographs, testimonials, case examples, or similar information appearing on the Site are illustrative only.
They are not promises or guarantees that another patient will achieve the same or similar result.
Before-and-after photographs may reflect individual outcomes affected by factors including anatomy, age, health, treatment plan, technique, dosage, number of treatments, healing response, lifestyle, and other variables.
7. Accuracy of Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and current. However, medicine, aesthetic technologies, products, pricing, provider availability, regulatory requirements, and treatment recommendations change over time.
We do not guarantee that every description, price, photograph, promotion, availability statement, or other item on the Site will always be complete, current, or error-free.
We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions and to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Site content or offerings without prior notice.
If information on the Site conflicts with information provided directly to you by your treating clinician regarding your medical care, you should rely on the individualized instructions provided by your clinician.
8. Appointment Requests and Online Scheduling
The Site may permit you to request or schedule appointments through Entre Nous Aesthetics or a third-party scheduling platform.
Appointment availability displayed online may change, and appointments may require confirmation.
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel appointments when reasonably necessary, including because of provider availability, medical considerations, equipment availability, scheduling errors, or other circumstances.
Patients are responsible for providing accurate contact and scheduling information.
Our applicable appointment, cancellation, late-arrival, deposit, and no-show policies are incorporated into the scheduling process or otherwise provided to patients and may apply separately from these Terms.
9. Pricing, Payments, Deposits, Packages, and Promotions
Prices displayed on the Site are subject to change unless otherwise expressly stated.
Final treatment cost may depend on the services actually recommended and provided, including treatment area, product selection, quantity, dosage, number of sessions, and individualized treatment plan.
Where applicable, deposits, cancellation fees, payment-processing charges, financing terms, package terms, promotional credits, account credits, gift certificates, memberships, or other programs may be governed by additional terms disclosed at the time of purchase or enrollment.
Those specific terms control if they conflict with a general provision of these Terms.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or typographical errors before completing a transaction.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
10. Communications by Text Message, Telephone, and Email
If you voluntarily provide us with a telephone number or email address, we may use that information to communicate with you as permitted by law and consistent with the choices and permissions you have provided.
Communications may include, as applicable:
- responses to your inquiries;
- appointment confirmations and reminders;
- scheduling communications;
- information relating to your care;
- administrative communications; and
- promotional or marketing communications when you have provided any consent required by law.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing medical services.
You may opt out of marketing text messages by following the opt-out instructions provided in the message, including replying STOP where applicable. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link contained in the email.
Opting out of marketing communications may not prevent us from sending communications that are necessary or permitted in connection with appointments, transactions, care, safety, or other non-marketing purposes.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and service plan.
11. Electronic Communications and Sensitive Information
Electronic communications involve inherent privacy and security risks.
Please do not send highly sensitive medical or personal information through ordinary email, general website contact forms, social media messaging, or other communication channels unless we specifically identify the method as appropriate for that purpose.
If the Site directs you to a secure patient, intake, scheduling, or communications platform, information submitted through that system may also be governed by the platform provider’s terms and privacy practices and by applicable health privacy laws.
12. Privacy and Health Information
Your privacy is important to us.
Our collection and use of personal information through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Our handling of protected health information, when applicable, is also governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable federal and California health privacy laws.
The Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices serve different purposes and should be reviewed separately.
Nothing in these Terms authorizes Entre Nous Aesthetics to use or disclose protected health information in a manner inconsistent with applicable law or our Notice of Privacy Practices.
13. Third-Party Services and Platforms
Certain functions available through the Site may be provided by third parties, such as services used for:
- appointment scheduling;
- patient communications;
- forms;
- payment processing;
- email or text communications;
- event registration;
- analytics;
- website functionality; or
- other practice operations.
Your interaction with a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s terms, privacy policy, and security practices.
Entre Nous Aesthetics does not control all aspects of third-party websites or services and is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or omissions except to the extent responsibility may not lawfully be excluded.
Additional information about how we use service providers and personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
14. External Links
The Site may contain links to websites, resources, products, professional organizations, manufacturers, social media platforms, or other services operated by third parties.
Links are provided for convenience or informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, representations, or terms.
You access third-party websites at your own discretion.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its content—including text, graphics, logos, branding, photographs, videos, treatment descriptions, design elements, icons, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Entre Nous Aesthetics and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Site for your personal, noncommercial use.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- reproduce substantial portions of the Site;
- copy or republish our original written content for commercial purposes;
- use our photographs, patient images, graphics, branding, trademarks, or logos;
- modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Site content;
- remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices; or
- represent our content as your own.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
16. Patient Images
Photographs or videos of patients appearing on the Site are used only as permitted by applicable authorization, consent, or law.
The presence of an individual’s photograph on this Site does not grant anyone permission to copy, download, reproduce, distribute, manipulate, republish, use for artificial-intelligence training, or otherwise exploit that person’s image.
Unauthorized use of patient images is prohibited.
17. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site:
- for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
- to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or information;
- to introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful technology;
- to scrape, harvest, or systematically collect information from the Site without authorization;
- to impersonate another person;
- to submit false or misleading information;
- to infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; or
in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Site when reasonably necessary to protect our systems, patients, employees, providers, users, or legal rights.
18. Children and Minors
The Site is intended primarily for adults.
If you are under 18, you should use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Eligibility for medical treatment of a minor is determined separately in accordance with applicable law, clinical judgment, parental or guardian consent requirements, and practice policy.
19. Website Availability and Security
We use reasonable measures intended to maintain the availability and security of the Site, but no website or electronic system can be guaranteed to operate continuously or be completely secure.
The Site may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party services, telecommunications failures, cybersecurity events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
20. Disclaimer of Website Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from harmful components, or that all information available through the Site will always be complete or current.
This section relates to the Site and online information. It does not disclaim or limit the professional duties or standard of care owed by a licensed health care professional to a patient.
21. Limitation of Liability for Website Use
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Entre Nous Aesthetics and its affiliates, owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or third-party websites linked from the Site.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to:
- waive rights that cannot legally be waived;
- limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited;
- limit a licensed health care professional’s obligations to a patient;
- waive or limit claims involving professional medical care where such a limitation would be prohibited by law; or
- modify any rights or obligations contained in a separate patient agreement or treatment consent.
22. Indemnification for Misuse of the Site
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims resulting from your unlawful or unauthorized misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
This provision does not apply to claims arising from medical treatment or professional health care services provided by Entre Nous Aesthetics.
23. Separate Patient Agreements and Policies
Patients may be asked to review and agree to separate documents concerning medical treatment, informed consent, financial responsibility, appointment policies, photography, communications, privacy, specific programs, or other matters.
Those documents are separate from these Terms.
If a provision of these website Terms conflicts with an individualized treatment consent or other agreement specifically governing medical care, the document applicable to that medical care will control with respect to that subject matter.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Site, services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date displayed at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these Terms do not retroactively alter separate agreements unless expressly permitted by those agreements and applicable law.
25. Governing Law
These Terms and disputes arising specifically from use of this Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any separate agreement that may apply, disputes arising from these website Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in California.
Nothing in this section changes the laws or procedures governing claims concerning professional health care services.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as appropriate, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
27. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
