How It Works
Botox® in Menlo Park
Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau are highly purified forms of botulinum toxin. When injected precisely into certain facial muscles, the product blocks nerve signals to these areas, causing the muscles to ignore that signal that’s telling them to contract. By relaxing the tiny muscles that contract when you laugh, squint, frown, or make any other facial expressions, wrinkles and lines are softened and new wrinkles are prevented from forming.
Your expert injector at Entre Nous Aesthetics will study your facial expressions and wrinkles to determine which of our neurotoxin injectables is right for you, what dosage should be used and where it should be placed to provide the results you desire. Clients should return for repeat injections every 3 to 5 months to maximize their results over the long-term.
Neuromodulators at Entre Nous
We offer several neuromodulator injections at Entre Nous, allowing us to create customized treatment plans for each of our patients. While patients often opt for just one neuromodulator, it is possible to use multiple at the same time, depending on your unique needs.
Botox
The tried and true classic. Botox Cosmetic is the name everyone associates with wrinkle relief. As the first neuromodulator to hit the market, it’s been around the longest and works. It produces natural and gorgeous results that are visible within a few days following the first treatment!
Daxxify
If you’re looking for results that are longer-lasting Botox, Daxxify is your ticket to making your results last longer. Formulated from the same type of neuromodulator as Botox, results from Daxxify last 6 to 9 months; that’s twice as long as classic Botox injections!
Dysport
Dysport is a great option for tackling moderate to severe frown lines (the glabellar lines between your eyebrows). Because Dysport spreads more easily than Botox, it’s great for treating larger areas like the forehead. Plus, some patients feel like they see results quicker using Dysport vs Botox. Dysport is FDA-approved to treat glabellar lines, and we are able to use it to forehead lines and crow’s feet, too!
Jeuveau
Also known as “Newtox,” Jeuveau is one of the newest neuromodulator injections on the market. It’s formulated very similarly to Botox, is FDA-approved, and has been safely used in medspas across the country. Jeuveau offers patients a more immediate result, taking effect within just 3-4 days.
