dysport, Done With Restraint
Independent aesthetic medicine, practiced by nationally board-certified specialists who take the time to get your Dysport in Menlo Park exactly right.
Good wrinkle-relaxing treatment should look like you, only with a little less emphasis on the lines that concern you. At Entre Nous Aesthetics, we approach Dysport with the same care we bring to every treatment: restraint, precision, and a genuine understanding of your face at rest and in motion. Because we’re independently owned and clinician-led, our providers aren’t following a corporate protocol or a quota; they’re making judgment calls based on your anatomy, your goals, and years of hands-on experience.
Our team of nationally board-certified advanced-practice providers has the medical training and authority to evaluate, diagnose, and treat, not just administer. That distinction matters when the goal is to soften the appearance of expression lines while preserving what makes your face yours. If you’re curious whether Dysport in Menlo Park is the right fit for you, we’d love to start the conversation.

Where the Skill Actually Lives
Dysport is a neuromodulator that temporarily reduces the muscle activity responsible for expression lines. It doesn’t fill or plump; it works by helping targeted muscles relax, softening the lines that form with repeated facial movement. The skill lies in understanding where to treat and how much to use, which is why we approach Dysport in Menlo Park as a clinical decision, not a cookie-cutter treatment.
Before any injections, your provider evaluates your muscle movement as you frown, raise your brows, and smile, so the treatment plan reflects how your face actually moves, not a generic template. Because we’re independently owned and brand-agnostic, our recommendations are guided by your anatomy, goals, and individual response—not a commitment to a single product. The injections themselves take only a few minutes, with placement and dosing carefully considered to soften expression lines while preserving the character of your natural expression.

There is momentary pain associated with each of several small injections. We use the tiniest needles available, apply ice and/or topical anesthetic to minimize injection-related pain. There should be no lingering pain after the procedure.
Most patients do not experience any downtime. Occasionally there may be a bruise that result from an injection. This can last up to a week depending upon each individual patient’s tendency to bruise.
It can take 5-7 days to see the results of Botox injections and 3-5 days to see the results of Dysport injections.
Results typically last 3-4 months. The more frequently the muscles are treated, the longer the effectiveness of the treatment.
We recommend returning for treatment every three months initially. As the muscles weaken, it may be possible to space out the treatments over longer periods of time.
Cost is related to how many areas are treated and how many units of Botox and/or Dysport are used in a given area.
Because injections can cause bleeding, it is beneficial to avoid fish oil, anti-inflammatory medication, aspirin and other products that can increase your tendency to bleed and bruise.
We ask you to keep your head upright for 6 hours following your treatment and to avoid vigorous exercise for until the day after treatment.
Botox and Dysport are both neuromodulators. When injected into the tiny muscles of our face, they make the muscle unresponsive to the neurotransmitters that tell the muscle to contract. In this way, they temporarily weaken muscles. There are subtle differences between Botox and Dysport. Your provider will decide which is best for your particular situation.
